Our 3rd wedding anniversary was spent at home – such was the theme of 2020!
First, we exchanged the gifts we made each other!
Greg made a beautiful wooden wall hanging that looks like mountains. He used different colored stains on the wooden layers so it looks like the layers of mountains you see in the distance – something I love about living in the Shenandoah Valley. He also installed hooks to the underside so we can hang our keys below. But since this is 2020, it has become our mask rack!

I made a huge album on Shutterfly of our honeymoon photos. I spent many hours organizing all the pictures I wanted to use, figuring out which layouts work best, and then fine-tuning the colors and accents. I love making photo albums on Shutterfly, it’s like scrapbooking but you have so can manipulate the photos so quickly and change things so easily. I enjoy it and I love how it turned out. Here are some examples of the pages.

For dinner, we picked up a pizza and mozzarella sticks from our favorite place in town and came back home to watch our favorite Star Wars movie: The Force Awakens. Our annual order of halfmoon cookies arrived a day late due to Labor Day, so we enjoyed those the next day.
To round out the celebrations, we went on a hike in Shenandoah National Park over the weekend and got to see three waterfalls.

Although we didn’t go on any crazy adventures for our anniversary this year, we still had a great time together as we always do. Plus, we had the ultimate adventure back in January to celebrate our honeymoon. We are so grateful for our health and for another year of being married!
Thanks for reading!
